MICHAEL COLBY JONES, a Registered Rodenburg Teacher (RRT), is currently the Head of the BFA Acting program at Brooklyn College, where he has taught since 2008.  At Michael Howard Studios MCJ serves as a Resident Voice and Speech Instructor, teaches in the Conservatory Programs, coaches privately, and maintains a continuing Professional Scene Study Class.  MCJ was an Assistant Professor at Ithaca College in the BFA Acting and Musical Theater programs, taught in the MFA and BFA Acting and MT programs at LIU Post, and for NYU’s BFA Acting and MT programs for three years. MCJ’s clients have performed on Broadway, Off-Broadway, at major regional theaters, and on network TV series.  MCJ's NYC directing credits include Office Hours (Manhattan Rep), ART (Alchemical Theatre), showcase productions for Ithaca College and Brooklyn College, and over 80 plays for the Gi60 International Play Festival.  Thanks to family, both professional and personal.  MCJ is a proud member of AEA, SAG-AFTRA, ATHE, CWA, and VASTA.
