MHS Instructors Candice Edwards-Marchrones

Candice Edwards-Marchrones, a woman of bi-racial heritage, emigrated from the U.K. to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.  With more than twenty-two years of experience in front of and behind the camera, Candice earned a degree in Media and Performance from the University of Salford, and attended the Two Year Acting Conservatory at Michael Howard Studios. Candice's tenacity propelled her forward towards production and soon after graduation she made the short film 'Naked Ambition', which she wrote, cast, produced, and starred in. Naked Ambition was accepted into dozens of film festivals globally, and won myriad awards including Best of Fest, Best Actress, and Best Short Screenplay.

Riding the wave of the success of her film, Candice was tapped by McKinsey & Company as a freelance producer. Quickly moving her way up the ranks, she found her home as head the casting department. Candice decided to branch off on her own and under the guidance of mentors Gabrielle Berberich and Ross Meyerson, she launched CEM Casting which holds special focus on diversity representation. Candice's passion for casting and exploring character types was really ignited through her time in acting classes at Michael Howard Studios.

In addition to launching CEM, Candice is the owner of Media Freeway, a management company that prides itself on seeking out new diverse talent, and helping established talent achieve even greater success.
